Where is the museum located? 1209 E Tom Green St, Brenham TX 77833
Where can I park? Free parking is available on the street, in the half circle, or around back. Street parking is often easier than parking behind the building.
Is parking free? Yes, all parking is free.
Hours & Admission
What are your current hours? July 2025: Saturdays 9am-4pm and Mondays 9am-12pm August 2025: Open for private parties only Fall hours will be announced soon
How much is admission?
Children (ages 1-15): $8
Adults (16+): $4
Under 1: Free
Can we leave and come back? Yes, admission covers coming and going throughout the day.
Age Groups & Visiting
What ages is the museum designed for? Most exhibits are designed for ages 2-12, but we have a special toddler/baby area. All children must be supervised by an adult.
How long do families typically stay? Most families spend about 2 hours exploring the museum.
Amenities
Can we bring our own food? Yes, outside food and drinks are welcome. Please eat in our quiet room.
Do you have nursing/changing facilities? Yes, we have comfortable chairs for nursing, a baby changing room, and a quiet room for nursing mothers or anyone who needs a break.
Groups & Parties
Do you host birthday parties? Yes! We're currently booking parties through December 2025. Please book at least one week in advance.
Do you offer field trips or group rates? Yes, we offer special field trip pricing and group rates. Please email info@brenhamchildrensmuseum.com for details.
Policies
Is photography allowed? Yes, photography is allowed. The museum may use photos for advertising. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let our staff know.
Do parents need to stay with their children? Yes, parents must supervise their children at all times.
